What to Wear on a Valentine’s Day Date

Three different relationships, three different outfits!

Casual: Perhaps it’s your fifth or sixth date, it’s been a month or two and things are going well. This isn’t one of those jackasses who likes to remind you he doesn’t want a girlfriend every time he takes you out. This is for the date with someone who’s on track to boyfriend. Time to make an impression and look your best.

Dress - Revolve Clothing, Boots - Tory Burch

Key staple: A flirty dress, killer heels, and your best behavior.

Stable: This is for long-term couples and married ones alike. You know, happy relationships with good boundaries, a future, traditions and one of them being a Valentine’s date. Just because you’re stable doesn’t mean you shouldn’t turn up the heat, actually it’s the best time for a surprise since it’s been a while since those days all you did was get hot and heavy.

Agent Provocateur

Key staple: Garter-belt lingerie or a tiny teddy underneath whatever you choose to wear. Shock and rock!

Begrudged: This is it, the end of the road, the last of all Valentine’s together. You may be happy, you may have begged for it, but one thing is for certain the dinner will be miserable, there will be a fight, and you don’t want to wonder why did I get all dressed up for this.

Dr. Scholl's Fast Flats

Key staple: Enough cash for a cab to get home, ballet flats in case you need to get out of the situation fast
